Multigrip Lockbolts

Multigrip pins offer a very wide grip range
One pin can fasten many application thicknesses
Pins have no break groove
Always used with special multigrip flanged collar
Can help reduce stocks and operator error
Pin must be at right angles to application
Not suitable for soft or forgiving applications

Procedure for Selecting Pins

1. Determine lockbolt material required - either Steel or Aluminium
2. Determine pin head style required - either Brazier, Truss or Countersunk
3. Determine diameter of pin required - either diameter reference 06 = 4.8mm ~ 3/16 inch
     or diameter reference 08 = 6.4mm ~ 1/4 inch
4. Determine grip reference required - either total thickness to be fastened is in grip range 10
     or total thickness to be fastened is in grip range 20
5. Determine part number of pin required - for example : MAR S B 06 10 M or MAR A C 08 20 M
